Moments in a Sketchbook
I believe that the best ideas don’t happen at a desk - they happen in the world so my practice as an Illustrator is a journey of constant collection. My sketchbook serves as a visual archive of ideas that eventually find their way into my work as a fashion designer and stylist.
For me, drawing is a way of "collecting." I capture moments that speak to my heart and preserve memories that eventually become the soul of my work. These sketches are the raw seeds that grow into my professional projects across my work in the design sphere, in styling or in Illustration.
I love to explore the boundaries between mediums, translating my observations through mixed media. Whether it is the messiness of oil pastels, the flowing quality of ink, a set of basic colorful crayons, or the tactile process of weaving.
This multi-sensory approach allows me to create work that is as much about feeling as it is about seeing.
