Weaving Landscapes
an utopian take on urban outdoor
Design, weaving, production and fashion styling of the collection
In response to growing social and ecological crises, Weaving Landscapes explores new design paths at the intersection of craftsmanship and technology. Inspired by the Japanese urban-outdoor aesthetic, the collection rethinks conventional functional clothing through sustainable, innovative approaches.
The six handcrafted looks combine PFC-free high-tech fabrics with handwoven wool and Tencel textiles. Insulated with compostable, down-free Primaloft® Bio™, the designs merge functionality, minimalism, and circular thinking.
Weaving serves as both technique and metaphor—a way to slow down the design process and rethink fashion thread by thread.
If we begin to value clothing as if we had made it ourselves—if we truly understand that every garment, not just the ones in this collection, is crafted by someone’s hands somewhere in the world—then our perception of clothing and its worth will shift. And with that, we can change our future, because we live on a planet with finite resources.
For the editorial photoshoot, we blended real-life talents with AI-generated environments. All models were styled, lit, and photographed in the studio, while the backgrounds were created using generative AI technologies—highlighting the dialogue between the natural and the artificial that runs through the collection.
